1980862274 2009-04-21 Production Wells No Violations Inspection this day due to landowner, Janet Hoop, calling to request inspection, info on the well. Found this well with 7 production casing, rods and tubing. She knew nothing about it but I asked Ron Vess - he says his dad drilled with cable tool in 1977 - he was 19 and had broken foot - well went to 900-1000, hit some gas but also lots of water. Is not producible, in his opinion. STEVE - change status to PR or can call an orphan, depending on what you find bond wise. I should look at all the wells on Ullmans bond as this is the 2nd well coded ND that I have found to be PR.
2123136299 2009-04-22 Production Wells No Violations Inspection this day due to request by landowner selling ground for verification of well, find out who the owner was. After GPSing the well, found it belonged toUllman Operations and asked Columbus to change status to PR from ND. Several of the Ullman wells I have looked at are drilled when the status says ND. Ron Vess, neighbor, remembers this well drilled - with cable tool rig in 1977 owned by his father George - and that well went to 900-1000 deep, he says hit some gas but lots of water. It is not producing now, no IDs, no tank. Also asked Columbus to check on bonding situation for Ullman Operations. No response.
