| 0397263308 | 2012-08-30 | Production Wells | No Violations | My inspection this day due to request from landowners, Ray and Sherry Augenstein, to verify that wells were not producing. Stonebridge filed an Aff. Of Non-Forfeiture in 5/12 but I have verified that none of the 3 wells are producing making the lease invalid. Landowners have said they are going to attorney to break lease and I told them I would need to write citation but could give them several weeks to get the process started. If I write a citation, Stonebridge will immediately come in and make the wells look like they are producing, valves open, when they are not. No tanks found, no meter. Stonebridge told them meter was several miles away on someone elses property. Stonebridge came in and laid a new gas line across the property, without a right of way, and had claimed well was now producing but this day all valves are shut. Well has been re-plumbed recently as many new fittings and valves - a plumger lift gas system - but all valves shut. I will wait to hear from landowners before writing citation. This well has not reported production since 2009. No identification. |

Upon inspection, it was observed that the old containment dike has been put back to original grade and the soil has been limed, seeded, and mulched. I spoke with landowner/complainant Mr. Roger Schau and he is satisfied with the results of the cleanup. Complaint resolved. |

Mr. Roger Schau called in a complaint about a tank associated with this well that is no longer in use and is leaking and killing vegetation. Upon inspection, it was observed that an old 100 bbl production tank which is no longer is use had rusted out around a fitting and leaked brine inside the diked area and some of the brine traveled through the dike wall and downhill approximately 20. A vegetation kill is present in the diked area as well has behind it. I contacted Mr. John Schneider of Stonebridge Operating Co. and notified him of the situation. Mr. Schneider stated that he would have a roust crew remove the old tank and separator and reclaim the tank battery location this week. |
