1121795445 2016-03-21 Preliminary Restoration No Violations Upon inspection, it was observed that this well is currently in production. The pumping unit for the well was in operation at the time of inspection. There is no longer illegal brine disposal taking place on this lease. This inspection also served as a preliminary restoration status check. All drilling equipment has been removed from the location, the site has been graded, pits have been filled, and there is a full vegetative cover established. Preliminary restoration passed 3/21/2016.
1339914431 2013-05-03 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations I witnessed the well stimulation in progress. Timco performed a shot using plastic explosive. Members of the Desk and Derrick Club were also present for this.
1423847152 2015-02-12 Production Wells No Violations Met with Benjamin Anderson on location to discuss their progress toward compliance. The brine discharge line is now disconnected and will be pulled from the creek in the coming days. The 50 bbl brine storage tank has been removed and replaced with a 130 bbl tank to provide more capacity as they are now hauling produced brine. The new 130 bbl tank was set too close to the oil production tank. I explained DOGRM spacing requirements to Mr. Anderson and he agreed to move and reset the tank at least 3 away from the oil tank. I also measured the containment dike in order to recommend proper dimensions for SPCC compliance. The dike will be constructed over the next few days. I will continue to monitor the progress of this situation.
1424206995 2015-02-17 Production Wells No Violations Met with Mr. Benjamin Anderson of Anderson Energy to perform a followup inspection of this well location. Upon inspection, it was observed that the brine disposal line is now removed from the creek and is fully disconnected. The tanks now meet ODNR DOGRN spacing requirements and the containment dike is SPCC compliant. The compliance notice dated 2-2-2015 can be closed.
1687367849 2015-02-02 Production Wells Violations Noted Performed an inspection on this well in response to a complaint. Upon inspection, it was observed that the well is capable of production and is producing. The well consists of 7 surface casing and 2.375 production tubing. The well is producing from the tubing. The tank battery consists of a 100 bbl production tank with a plastic knockout tank that diverts produced brine into a 50 bbl brine storage tank. No violations were noted at the well head. However, it was observed that produced brine is being disposed of through a black plastic line that runs from the 50 bbl brine storage tank and dumps into the nearby stream. Brine may not be disposed of in this manner. I spoke with the well owner, Mr. Benjamin Anderson, and he stated that he thought the wells were classified as Exempt Mississippian. I explained to Mr. Anderson the requirements of this exemption and that the wells on this lease do not meet those requirements. I pulled several field samples to test brine flowing from the source line and the brine maxed out the High Range Quantab test strips. I then pulled formal samples upstream, downstream, and from the source line and delivered them to the ODNR Cambridge Environemntal Lab for analysis. Anderson Energy, Inc. will have 10 days upon receipt of this notice to have the following completed: 1.) Remove the brine disposal line from the stream and tank battery. 2.) Make provisions to start hauling brine to an approved disposal well facility. 3) Build a containment dike around the tank battery to meet SPCC standards.
1754055258 2013-07-23 Preliminary Restoration No Violations Well is equipped for production with a pumping unit and electric motor. Well has been pumping recently. The polish rod was clean and shiny. There is no pollution or contamination at the well or the tank battery. The tank battery consists of one 100 barrel tank, one 50 barrel tank and a knockout on top of the 100 barrel tank (55 gallon drum). The dike wall around the tank battery isnt very high. I will make a reccomendation to raise the dike walls on the tank battery.
