1688566006 2018-06-28 Production Wells No Violations On this day, I am conducting an inspection per request of Southwest District Supervisor Eric Conrad. I found the well equipped with 6.625 inch diameter casing open and venting to atmosphere, 2.375 inch diameter tubing connected to a 2 inch diameter plastic flowline, open, with no valve present. Also, there is a 1 inch diameter vent packer attached to 1 inch flowline with the valve open. It is currently produced as an open-flow well with rods inserted in the tubing, but no pumping unit is present. The production facility consists of (1) 100 barrel steel tank contained within an earthen dike, and (1) 3,000 gallon polymer contained within a separate dike, nearby. There is a 2 inch flowline attached to the drain valve at the bottom of the 100 barrel tank, and the line appears severed approximately 50 feet from the tank. Both tanks and the wellhead are identified and the production records are current as of 2016, with 0s reported. It will be noted that standing water was present within the 100 barrel dike and tested with a Low Range Quantab, with a result of 0 parts per million chlorides. Pictures were taken during the inspection.
