Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
0080730591 2007-03-14 Production Wells No Violations Inspection this day found well producing from old central power - scissor jack, owner, Mr. Layton calls this Epler #1
1133532750 2018-02-07 Production Wells Violations Noted The inspection this day revealed that this well is equipped with a scissor jack, 4 1/2 inch diameter production casing, and production tubing. When I spoke to Mr. Layton yesterday he informed me that he produced this well as well as 63463 and 63460 on this lease. Production records on this well show that Layco turned in 40 barrels of oil for 2017. There is a 100 barrel steel tank for this well. There is no identification on the well or tank for this well. I spoke with Mr. Layton yesterday and told him that he needs to get identification on both the wellhead and tank if he is running multiple wells into a single tank battery. There is no identification posted on the wellhead or the tank. In accordance with 1501:9-9-05(A)(10) all wells must be legibly identified in a conspicuous place on or near the wellhead or storage tanks with the owner, lease name, well number, permit number, county, and emergency contact information.
1468941722 2017-07-27 Production Wells No Violations The inspection this day revealed that this well is equipped with a pumping unit, 4 1/2 inch diameter production casing, and 1 1/2 inch diameter production tubing. The valves are open on the wellhead at the time of inspection. I was unable to locate any associated tanks with this well at the time of inspection. There are no issues to report at this time and the well is in production at the time of inspection.
1540315651 2018-10-23 Production Wells No Violations On this day, I am conducting a compliance notice follow-up inspection. I found the well equipped with casing and tubing with the production valves open and attached to flowlines. It is currently setup to be produced by means of an under-pull pumping unit. The production facility consists of (1) 65 barrel steel tank that appears to be shared with the additional wells on the lease. I spoke with Mr. Layton, during the inspection, and he indicated that he produces this well, and it runs off the central powerhouse, near the well. The production records are current through 2017, and the well is identified with Layco signage. The sign indicates the well as Eppler #1. I informed Mr. Layton that identification on the production tank is necessary when multiple wells produce into a single tank. Pictures were taken.
