| 2111404274 | 2018-10-18 | Production Wells | Violations Noted | On this day, I am conducting an inspection per request of ODNR Southwest Supervisor Dan Goins. I found the well equipped with 6.625 inch diameter casing and 2 inch diameter tubing with the production valve closed. The pumping unit for the well has been removed and sits nearby. The rods are currently inserted, but no flowline hook-ups are attached to the well. There is an old 100 barrel steel tank near the entrance from Shay Ridge Road, overgrown with vegetation, that may be associated with the well. Elk Oil has a 70 barrel steel tank within 50 feet, as well. There is no identification at the wellhead or tank, and zero (0) production was reported for 2017. No production was reported prior to 2017. Armstrong Robert D shall submit a written plugging schedule to Tom Thomas at 5880 Memory Road Zanesville, OH 43701 within 30 days, per ORC 1509:13(B)(7), and plug the well within 180 days. The well owner/operator will be notified if the plugging schedule is approved or denied. Attempted to contact Rob Armstrong on 10/18/2018, with no answer, and no means of leaving a voicemail. Pictures were taken. |
