1650209330 | 2017-02-28 | Administrative Inspection | No Violations | Inspected well on 02/28/2017. While inspecting production wells, a casing was noted in the field ~50 from the lease road. An inspection found that it was an ~10 casing sticking up ~2. The casing was full of water, with a blue hose connecting it to a nearby field tile. Research into the history of the well showed that it was plugged in 1959. The landowner, Mr. Hiner, indicated that the well had been plugged in 1959, but that it was only plugged back to ~60, and has been used as a water well to irrigate the back field since. No problems were noted at the time of the inspection. |
