Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
1455294655 2015-06-16 Production Wells No Violations At the time of the inspection the well was located 5 west of the garage and 7 north of a 16 by 8 shed on the property at 141 Blackman Road in Bradner, Ohio. The well has an 8 casing, presumably the conductor or drive casing, but no other casing or pipe is visible at the surface. A hand operated water pump was placed on the well by one of the previous landowners but it in not known if it was ever used for water or was just there to cover the well. When the pump was moved to allow access to the 8 casing, oil was visible about 4 below ground level. There was no gas detected using the State Issued Sperian PhD6 gas detector, but a distinct smell of crude oil was present. There was no other production equipment or tanks at the location and while historic maps show other wells were drilled on the property, no other wells were discovered. The well is approximately 200 west of Blackman Road and 120 southwest of Ms. Merciers house located on the parcel. The garage on the property due south, owned by Mr. Hagemann, is only 50 from the well and the home is only 88 from the well.
