At the time of this inspection, the rig ran all of the required cement plugs to surface and the crew was moving off the well pad and getting ready to set the monument. NOTE: As I inspected this well, I noted the strong odor of gas several times. Upon further investigation I discovered a nearby old 3" utility line leaking gas from an old line leak clamp which was exposed in a section of line located on a very steep hillside approximately 150 yards below the well which was being plugged where water run off had exposed the line over time. I will call this line leak in for repairs. All equipment on site looked ok. |
