1815238 | Primary Facility | 2009-07-24 | Site Restoration | No Violations Noted | Drilling was commenced on or about 10/30/08. Well appeared to be equipped for production at the time of the inspection. Brine tank located onsite and appeared to be in sound condition. Downslope of the well-pad the vegetative cover appeared to meet the 70% uniform coverage criteria. At this time the operator could remove the filter fabric fence. A corn field had been plowed, planted and was growing upslope from the well-pad and the operator had installed filter fabric fence as a preventitive meausre to slow down any runoff leaving the corn field from adversely affecting the well pad. The Department suggests that the operator consider a more permanent erosion control BMP to address this possible issue. |
