2204181 | Primary Facility | 2013-09-10 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Site inspection performed as part of an OG-57 waiver application review. E&S plan as compiled should effectively minimize accelerated erosion and sedimentation, provided the controls are implemented and miantained properly. It was noted that drill cuttings are to be disposed of by encapsulation in the drill pit. Contact was made with the Operator by the Department and it was confirmed that during site construction a qualified professional will be onsite to document the soil conditions to insure the bottom of the drill pit is more than 20 inches above the seasonal high groundwater table to insure complaince with Chapter 78.56 and Chapter 78.62. The verification will then be forwarded to the Department as an amendment to the aproved E&S plan. Should the field verification show that the drill cuttings are not able to be encapsualted the operator should forward the appropriate change to the E&S plan detailing the chosen method of drill cutting disposal. |
