2816028 | Primary Facility | 2018-12-17 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | No Violations Noted | This well is being plugged by operator PennDot utilizing a plugging contractor. On this date, Surefire ran in the well and reached an attainable And acceptable TD of 1620'. The 4 1/2" production casing was found to be 792' deep in the well. Surefire was getting ready to leave the well pad at the time of this inspection. The next activity planned for this well will be when the plugging rig moves on the first week of January, 2019.
Note: I observed that the temporary well access road was pretty muddy from the recent wet weather so I drove up the road to the nearby PennDot field office to request that some stone be added to the end of the temporary well access road so sediment would not be carried off site and onto the public roadway. The Project Supervisor made a call for a truck load of stone to be delivered and spread. |
2827825 | Primary Facility | 2019-01-16 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | No Violations Noted | The plugging crew set cement from the attainable bottom of 2620' to 807' in three cement plug pours and washed off at 807'. They then pulled five joints of cement string out of the hole, shut the well in and left for the day. All equipment on site looks good. |
2828704 | Primary Facility | 2019-01-17 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | No Violations Noted | The plugging crew set cement from the attainable bottom of 2620' to 807' in three cement plug pours and washed off at 807'. They then pulled five joints of cement string out of the hole, shut the well in and left for the day. All equipment on site looks good.
On 5/17/2019 the cement top was at 953'. The rig tripped the 1 1/2" cement string out of the hole and tripped 709' of 4 1/2' casing out of the hole. There was a 5' Farmco set down packer on the bottom of the casing. The 4 1/2" casing was wet at 40' below surface where water was entering the well bore. Surefire logged the 7' which was set at 794'. The 7"pipe was perforated with 5 shots at 600', 5 shots at 400' and 5 shots at 225'. The forward plan is to run in with a 2 3/8" cement string and cement up from 953' to surface, wait on cement and run back in and tag the cement top to ensure that cement is to surface the first of the coming week. If necessary, the cement will be topped off to reach surface. All equipment on site looked ok. |
