The pit had been previously drained. The liner contained several small tears in one section of the wall above the water line. It appears this was caused by an animal trying to climb out of the pit as evidenced by tracks in the material in the pit. These tears were not present at the time of my 4/29/10 inspection. Drill cuttings are to be removed from pit and hauled off site. The pit will be closed and filled shortly. The material under the pit will be examined at that time. |
