Andrew Hobbins, Water Quality Specialist, represented the Department. Nobody was present for Repsol.
The E&S plan, site sign, and weekly inspection logs were on site and available for review. The site was well vegetated, and no major erosion issues were observed. The Department observed that the sediment basins were converted to bioretention basins as part of the upgrade from ESCGP-1 to an ESCGP-2. Three wells were in production during the inspection. All three wells were labeled and no bubbling was observed in the well cellars. Two production tanks and three GPUs were observed in secondary containment. The containment structures were in good condition and liquid within the secondary containment tested low in specific conductivity. No staining was observed on the well pad surface.
