2687372 | Primary Facility | 2018-01-25 | Drilling/Alteration | No Violations Noted | At the time of inspection, Appalachian Drillers 1 was tripping out of the well. Drill pipe was being placed on flat bed to take off location. Surface casing was cemented using 545 sxs Class A (118 bbls), 2% CaCl2, 2% Gypsum, 15.6 ppg, 1.22 yield. Displaced with 101 bbls water. Plug landed, floats held. 25 bbls returned to surface. A float shoe and float collar were used with 6 centralizers. A basket was used at 201'. The basket was used because a large seam of coal was noted from 230-236' and operator did not want to have an issue if circulation was lost. Some oil noted at 1350' when dusting stopped.
Intermediate casing info emailed later in day. It was cemented using 675 sxs Class A (147 bbls), 2% Gypsum, 2% CaCl2, 15.6 ppg, 1.22 yield. Displaced with 140 bbls water. Plug landed and floats held. 28 bbls returned to surface. A float shoe and float collar (1941') were used along with 16 centralizers. |
