Based on information gathered (surrounding wells that had logs) and my interpretation of the geology, there were 3 zones that were neglected. In the schematic attached, it shows the 3 zones at depths of 1610'-1630', 1710'-1730', and 2450'-2480' with the 2 shallower zones overlapping for cement according to the following regulation. Although the 2" production casing is cemented in, the regulations require cement to be set 50' below to 100' above any oil, gas, or water bearing zones [§78.95(B)]. |
