At the time of inspection, the well is shut in at 1" tubing which extends above ground level. Production casing is shut in at two valves on tubing head. Pressure gauge off the one valve which is not fully closed is difficult to read. The well cellar was covered with wood. No audible bubbling/venting could be heard in the cellar. Some standing water could be seen; no bubbling. No gas was detected in the cellar with an Altair 5x gas meter. There were no obvious major integrity issues observed. The operator reportedly plans to move forward with plugging this well in October. |
