The area surrounding the production equipment has been restored. Restored site is well vegetated. No signs of E&S issues. The chart recorder is labeled with the operators name, operators contact phone number, and the well name. Please note that the well permit number is not displayed. The Department recommends addressing this issue in accordance with Chapter 78.55(e) and OGA3211(h). No date was observed on the chart recorder. Flakey paint and corrosion were observed on the well head, separator, and axillary piping. The Department recommends monitoring the production equipment and replacing and/or repainting the equipment if necessary.
Department staff used an Altair 5x gas meter during the inspection. Combustible gases were detected at 30% LEL at the well. A steady bubbling was observed in standing water surrounding the well head and white, foamy, bubbling |
