XPR Resources is a subsidiary of Campbell Oil & Gas Inc. Earlier this year in 2017, XPR Resources purchased several of WPX Energy's assets in PA. It is my understanding that the Shannon Land & Mining Co 1 & 2 pads were not purchased by XPR Resources but, the lease agreement was; which is currently expired. Currently as it stands the Department has this location (Shannon Land & Mining Co 1 & 2 Pads) listed under XPR Resources client ID number, but WPX is currently still the owner of these assets.
This well pad was constructed by REX Energy in 2008 without an ESCGP. On March 9, 2009 the Clearfield Conservation District issued an ESCGP 1708803 to Rex Energy for the construction of multiple well pads and a pipeline.
