There was a small area outside containment that had stressed vegetation. Soil conductivity levels were check in the area outside of containment no reading were received over 500 µS. The top layer of soil was removed for precaution. Inside the containment, soil conductivity levels were elevated. The soil directly below the slice in the tank was excavated and placed in a roll-off for disposal. During the time I was onsite an approximate 3' x 4' x 2' volume of soil was removed. Further excavation will be necessary. |
