2726160 Primary Facility 2018-05-01 Complaint Inspection Pending This is a shut in gas well that was being inspected as a result of a complaint regarding the draining of the brine tank the night before. There were three plastic tanks on location with one being plumbed to well. The valve on this tank has a slight petroleum film on the vegetation directly below it. No signs of any large amounts of fluid discharged. A fluid release from any from any of the 3 plastic tanks would go into a small depression some 8 - 10 yards away that was presently holding some fluid that appeared to be fresh water. I took a sample from the fluid in this area # 9627001. The well permit number sign had fallen to the ground. No other problems were noticed at this time.
2736315 Primary Facility 2018-05-31 Complaint Inspection Violation(s) Noted This is a follow up inspection on this gas well that was first being inspected as a result of a complaint regarding the draining of the brine tank on May 1st. There were three plastic tanks on location with one being plumbed to well. The valve on this tank was in the open position and the tank was empty. There was a petroleum stain on the vegetation directly below it. No signs of any large amounts of fluid discharged were evident but laboratory results taken on the May 1st inspection did confirm a release of production fluids had occurred. The well permit number sign was still on the ground.
