This would increase the chance of soil particles entering field drain tiles in the vineyard that would subsequenty flow to Rt 5 road ditch. |

Operator indicated they needed to make adjustments to the rig before proceeding any further. I also noted a new diversion ditch had been constructed across the site between the rig and the waste pit. This ditch is setup to handle surface runoff from the vineyard to the sump on the north edge of the site. This ditch replaces the diversion ditch that ran along the west side of the site, that had to be moved to accomadate the waste pit. The waste pit had several feet of freeboard. I inspected all E&S controls and found no violations. |
