Mr. Passauer informed me that he would not be around to open the gate snd thst perhaps I should try the sdjacent Pennfield Energy (formally Trimont Energy) lease.
Knowing that the wells could be accessed by foot I decided it would still be the better testing location and met Rick Swank in Tionesta. While traveling toward the lease we passed Mr. Passauer along Tank Hill Rd as he traveled in his dump truck pulling a trailer. Mr Swank and I entered the lease by driving through an open gate for Mr. Passauer's rock pit.
