At that time he had noticed a small leak at the plastic nipple and had tightened it and wrapped an absorbent pad around it. The well had not been visited again before Steve Lencer found the release on Monday, May 21st. Ian said they intend on removing all the plastic nipples on the lease. The area where the oil leaked on the ground has been adequately cleaned up and the waste removed from the area in two 55 gallon drums. I asked Ian to provide me with a copy of the receipt showing where the waste is disposed of. |
