1432989 | Primary Facility | 2005-03-22 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Well is tagged, producing, restored w/restoration holding on steep slope. Access is forced along the contour of hill to maximize usage of tillable & top-of-the-hill grazing land. |
2711590 | Primary Facility | 2018-03-15 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | On Thursday, March 15, 2018, I conducted a routine-complete inspection at the Pettit No. 3 conventional gas well site located in Center Township, Greene County.
The access road and the pad area were in good condition and the site has been stabilized with vegetation. The earthen berm secondary containment structure around the production tank was observed to be vegetated and in good condition. The production tank appeared to be in good condition. Although the operator is compliant with applicable regulations, the operator should consider employing secondary containment constructed with impermeable materials. A release of fluid into the earthen berm containment can result in a violation being issued. The gas well and the associated infrastructure appeared to be in good condition and functioning properly. The gas well was labelled. No violations were identified during the inspection. |
2853196 | Primary Facility | 2019-03-06 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | On Wednesday March 6, 2019 I conducted a routine-complete inspection at the Pettit No. 3 Conventional Vertical Gas Well located in Center Township, Greene County.
The access road and the pad area were in good condition. Uniform vegetative growth was observed through a thin snow cover. The production tank appeared to be in good condition. The earthen berm secondary containment structure around the production tank appeared to be in good condition and was observed to be vegetated. Although the operator is compliant with current regulations, they should consider utilizing secondary containment constructed of impermeable materials. A release of fluid with in the berm structure can result in a violation being issued to the operator. The gas well and associated infrastructure appeared to be in good condition and functioning properly. The well was tagged with identification. No violations were identified during the inspection. |
