2822929 | Primary Facility | 2019-01-02 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | On Wednesday January 2, 2019 I conducted a routine-complete inspection at the DFM-8 CBM well site located in Center Township, Greene County.
The access road and the well pad were observed to be in good condition. The site has been stabilized with vegetation. The earthen berm secondary containment around the production tanks located along the access road prior to the well location, was in good condition and observed to be vegetation. An area with less vegetation was observed where trucks park to off-load from the production tanks. The operator should consider reseeding the area to improve stabilization with vegetative cover. The production tanks also appeared to be in good condition. Although the operator is in compliance with current regulations, they should consider using secondary containment constructed of impermeable materials. A release of fluid within the earthen berm can result in a violation being issued to the operator. The gas well and the associated infrastructure appeared to be in good c |
