2822905 | Primary Facility | 2019-01-02 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | On Wednesday January 2, 2019 I conducted a routine-complete inspection at the DFM-9S CBM well site located in Center Township, Greene County.
The access road and the well pad which is also the location of the DFM-9 CBM well were observed to be in good condition. The site has been stabilized with vegetation. There is no on-site production fluid storage. The production tanks are located across the street along the access road to the DFM-8 CBM well. The earthen berm secondary containment structure was observed to be vegetated and in good condition. One are of the berm, where trucks park to off-load fluid from the tanks was observed have less vegetation. The operator should consider reseeding the off-load area to improve vegetative cover. Although the operator is in compliance with current regulations, they should consider using secondary containment constructed of impermeable materials. A release of fluid inside the earthen berm can result in a violation being issued to the operator. The gas well and |
