The site is located in Springhill Twp., Greene Co. The inspection was a routine inspection during construction of the newly permitted access road and PCSM structures.

The well pad construction has been completed for several years, but no wells have been drilled at the site. The operator has re permitted the site as an ESCGP2 permit and has relocated the access road. The operator plans to finish construction of the infiltration berms and wet pond and then plans to begin drilling activity.

7 wells have been permitted for the site, but none have been drilled.

2658196 Primary Facility 2017-10-23 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On October 23, 2017, the Department performed an inspection of the Rice Energy Franklin Denny well pad site. Present at time of inspection was Justin Blanc (Rice). The site is located in Springhill Twp., Greene Co. The inspection was a inspection of the site prior to drilling operations because of a request by the operator for a pre-operational inspection.

The well pad construction has been completed for several years, but no wells have been drilled at the site. The operator has re permitted the site as an ESCGP2 permit and has relocated the access road.

The operator has completed installation of all E&S controls and PCSM structures. The well pad final grading and stoning has been completed. The operator has completed construction of the access road and PCSMs along the access road. The operator has temporarily stabilized the well pad and stockpile slopes with hydro seeding and slope armoring. The operator has increased the size of the excess material stockpile, and installed an armored collection chan
