At time of inspection well is plugged. Permit number permanently affixed on erected monument. It appears the site has not been seeded/mulched. No BMP's on site. Operator has 4 days from cessation of earth distrubance to temporarily stabilize site. Department contacted Operator Rep Mark Gawel by phone on 2-10-16 to determine if access road was being removed. Operator stated that he would check his records and follow up with Department. Operator contacted Department on 2-17-16 and stated that a subsidiary of Rosebud Mining requested that the access road not be removed. Department requests Operator submit letter stating as such to Department at above address. As per current regulations Operator has 9 months from plugging to permanently stabilize site. |
