Present parties include Operator representative Dan Rice, Operator consultant Mary Kimmel, contractors, Department WQS Samantha Foulk, and Department Environmental Trainee Cindy Witham.
Mr. Rice had a question regarding the culvert replacement and immediate upstream waterway. The general permit (GP073215202 – Musser Culvert Replacement) for this culvert replacement was issued by the Indiana County Conservation District. After speaking with SWRO Acting O&G Biologist Supervisor Michael Stephan, the Operator may proceed with the work; however, in the future, the Department recommends the Operator obtain general permits through the Department for similar applicable locations. |
