1856351 | Primary Facility | 2010-01-15 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Drilling had been completed at the time of the inspection. Well was not equipped for production. Above grade pits located onsite, they appeared to be in sound condition and they both had more than the required two feet of lined freeboard. Due to the proximity to the stream the fluids contained in the pits should be disposed of as quickly as possible. E&S plan implemented as outlined in the approved E&S plan located onsite. The operator should monitor the erosion control meausres and above grade pits until well development and final restoration activities are completed. |
1893165 | Primary Facility | 2010-06-08 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | At the time of inspection, well was drilled, tagged, and in production. Drilling completed 1/14/10. Access road was stable. Brine tank sound. Site had not yet been restored. Noted that a section of pit liner was not properly secured. Observed ponding of water behind the above-grade pit(s) (btw pit and orange fencing/straw bale perimeter), did not appeared that pit was leaking or overflowed as more than two foot freeboard was maintained and there were no markings to indicate water level had dropped. Spoke with Construction Supervisor Dan Rice of PC, who addressed the concerns immediately, by starting the restoration process. A follow up inspection will be conducted in near future to examine final restoration activities. It is recommended that operator continue to closely monitor E&S controls until final restoration activities are complete. |
