2437799 Primary Facility 2015-12-30 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted : Arrived @ 12:53. Weather: foggy, cloudy, some fine drizzle. Four wells, formerly in production, were shut-in. Lease tender Bobby Hamel was onsite pumping rain water out of the containment around the produced water tank. All well cellars were filled with gravel. There were two open annular vents at each well. The 13-3/8” x 9-5/8” was vented with a 1” pipe. The 9-5/8” x 5-1/2” annulus was vented with a 2” pipe. The annuli were monitored with an Altair 5X gas meter calibrated on 12/28/15.
2543925 Primary Facility 2016-12-08 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Routine Inspection; 12/8/2016. I entered the location at 09:57 and began the inspection. At the time of the inspection, the Patterson Unit 1H (081-20240), 2H (081-20241), 4H (081-20243), and 5H (081-20244) wells were in production. The well pad area was well vegetated and can be considered permanently stabilized. The well site has not been restored and the Well Site Compliance Information Request reply (submitted 9/21/2015) says the well site has been restored and the Notice of Termination was to be submitted in September of 2015. The well pad remains at its original size and the site currently does not conform to the permitted restoration plan. The original ESCGP has been expired since 11/23/2014.
The Department considers a well site to be restored under Section 3216(c) of the 2012 Oil and Gas Act when the oil or gas owners or operators meet the following:
1. All permanent post construction stormwater control features as identified in the Post Construction Stormwater Management/Site Restoration Pla
2577274 Primary Facility 2017-03-28 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Arrived @ 10:00. Weather: cloudy, warm, light rain. There are 4 wells capable of production on location. At the time of my inspection the 1H and 2H were in production, 4H and 5H were locked and shut-in. There were 3 annular vent pipes at each well. All well cellars were filled with gravel. The annuli for the 2H were configured differently, but for the other wells, the 20” x 13-3/8” and 13-3/8” x 9-5/8” were open and the 9-5/8” x 5-1/2” was plumbed to a dump line. The annuli were monitored with an Altair 5X gas meter calibrated on 03/28/17. No combustible gas was detected at the annuli of the: 1H, 4H, and 5H. The annuli for the 2H were linked together and it was not possible at the time of my inspection to test for gas (see photo).

Patterson 1H: top gauge: 300 psi (0-5000 analog) Patterson 2H; top gauge: 300 psi (0-3000 analog) No new violations were observed during this inspection.

2679416 Primary Facility 2018-01-03 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Arrived at 15:00. 4 wells on location, 1H and 2H producing, 4H and 5H locken and shut-in. All wells on active status. Followed up with Bird Smith who said that wells produce large amounts of water, so production is limited.
2679419 Primary Facility 2018-01-03 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Arrived at 15:00. 4 wells on location, 1H and 2H producing, 4H and 5H locken and shut-in. All wells on active status. Followed up with Bird Smith who said that wells produce large amounts of water, so production is limited.
2694388 Primary Facility 2018-02-14 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Weather was 30° and cloudy at time of inspection. Met with lease operator Bobby Hamel on location at time of inspection. Well had an analog pressure gauge attached above the swab valve. Pressure was approximately 240 psi at time of inspection. There were three annulus vents plumbed to surface. The 5 1/2 x 9 5/8 annulus vent was plumbed across location to the produced water tanks. The 9 5/8 x 13 3/8 and 13 3/8 x 20 annulus vents were open and 0% combustible gas was detected at time of inspection. No violations were noted at time of inspection.
2832713 Primary Facility 2019-01-28 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On January 28, 2019, Department representative Brad Kline conducted a routine site inspection at EXCO Resources, LLC. Patterson Unit 1 pad. Site inspection log was onsite for review. No E&S issues were observed during the time of inspection. The site is stable and well vegetated meeting the 70% uniform, perennial, vegetative cover.

There are a total of 4 producing wells located on this well pad. All wells are tagged with API/well permit numbers. Well cellars are filled in with gravel. There are 4 GPU’s and 2 steel vertical production fluids tanks onsite. Production fluid tanks and GPUs were stationed in separate secondary containment.

No violations noted. The Department recommends submitting a Notice of Termination and a Post-Drilling Well Site Restoration Report when the criteria are met and weather conditions permit.
