2720547 Primary Facility 2018-04-13 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted A routine (pre-plugging) inspection of the Ogontz 13 well was conducted April 13, 2018. At the time of inspection, the well is shut in at a manual master valve on top of hanger. Production casing was tied into choke manifold from wing valve and lined out to a gas buster tank for blowdown. The cellar was covered up with containment below B section on wellhead. There was a vent pipe coming up to surface from in the cellar, presumably for the backside of production casing, tied into vents from other wells on the pad and lined out and open ended into a small vent tank. No obvious major issues were observed at this time. The operator has submitted a Notice of Intent to Plug this well and operations are tentatively scheduled to start next week.
2721039 Primary Facility 2018-04-20 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Routine (pre-plugging) inspection of the Ogontz 13 well was conducted April 20, 2018. A crew was onsite prepping the pad for plugging operations. Plugging was scheduled to begin yesterday but has been pushed back to next week because of the rig's schedule. No significant changes were observed on the well since last Friday; the well was open to a gas buster tank and no obvious issues were observed.
2722518 Primary Facility 2018-04-24 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Routine (pre-plugging) inspection of the Ogontz 13 well was conducted April 24, 2018. Range was not on location. Plugging is scheduled to begin sometime this week. No significant major changes were observed on the well since last Friday except now the backside of production casing is shut in to an analog pressure gauge. The gauge read 0 psi, though it was unclear if valves between the gauge and well are open to the gauge. No obvious issues were observed.
2727292 Primary Facility 2018-05-07 Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) No Violations Noted A routine plugging inspection of the Ogontz 13 well was conducted May 8th, 2018. At the time of inspection, a rig is on location for plugging and cementers are rigged up to pump. I spoke with the Companyman to discuss operations on the pad. The 5 1/2" production casing is cemented to surface and will stay in the hole. The operator has elected to perforate intervals where ratty cement was indicated on the 5 1/2" CBL to allow communication between the cased hole and annulus while spotting cement. The 5 1/2" was perforated at 4256', 4091', 3859', 3309', 3192', and 2620'. All perfs are below casing shoe at 2514'. The operator has decided to plug this well with a solid column of cement inside the 5 1/2" from the CIBP at 7989' back to surface, pumped in stages. The operator reported good returns throughout operations and no significant pressure on any annulus. The crew expects to be finished pumping by tomorrow.
2728550 Primary Facility 2018-05-08 Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) No Violations Noted A routine, post-plugging inspection of the Ogontz 13 well was conducted May 8th, 2018. The rig has moved off location following plug and abandonment. Range personnel was on location at the time of inspection. The master valve has been removed and the production casing was full of fluid up to casing spool. No bubbling was observed and no gas was detected at the well opening. The 9 5/8" casing was shut-in to an analog gauge with no pressure observed. Range opened the valve for the 9 5/8" vent and no gas was heard venting. Once opened, no gas was detected at the mouth of the vent pipe. No obvious issues were observed at the time of inspection and the operator is planning to cut, cap, mark, and bury the plugged well.
2732983 Primary Facility 2018-05-22 Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) No Violations Noted A routine inspection of this plugged unconventional well was conducted on May 22, 2018. The rig is off location following plug and abandonment, and the well is now cut, capped, and buried below grade. There was standing water at surface at the buried well location. No bubbling or any obvious issues were observed.
