2627665 | Primary Facility | 2017-08-15 | Incident- Response to Accident or Event | No Violations Noted | I was contacted by Randi Mathew (Range) concerning the release of produced water from the dump valve on the Ogontz 29H well. At approximately 13:00 on 8/14/2017 the release of produced water was discovered. The estimated volume of the release is 15 gallons.
On 8/15/2017, I met with Randi Mathew and Sonny Stitt (Deeter Farms) onsite. The area around the production tanks was excavated and field soil conductivity was between 340-940 umhos/cm. The operator was only able to excavate a few inches under the production unit. Material under the production unit had soil conductivity between 6,300-11,080 umhos/cm (see diagram). The excavation averaged 3-5 inches deep and up to 20 inches at the deepest point due to sand and cobble (south of the production unit). Violations cited to 081-20491. |
2649939 | Primary Facility | 2017-10-19 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Weather was 60° and sunny at time of inspection. DEP OGI Ulyana Trynovich was on location at time of inspection. 5 1/2 x 9 5/8 annulus vent was plumbed to a poly tank. Poly tank had 23% lel and 0% methane at time of inspection. 13 3/8 x 9 5/8 annulus vent was open at time of inspection. 0% combustible gas was detected. There was no 13 3/8 x 20 annulus vent observed at time of inspection. |
2812848 | Primary Facility | 2018-12-10 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | On 12-10-18, Department representatives Brad Kline, Jared Jacobini, and Brendon Logan conducted a routine site inspection at Range Resources LLC. Ogontz 24-29H well pad. Site inspection log was available for review. No E&S issues were observed during the time of inspection. The site is stable and well vegetated meeting the 70% uniform, perennial, vegetative cover. Large pile of gravel on Western corner of pad.
There are a total of 7 producing wells located on this well pad. All wells are tagged with API/well permit numbers. The cellars were filled in. There are 7 GPU’s and 2 steel vertical production fluids tanks onsite. The production fluid tanks were stationed in secondary containment. No violations noted. |
