2680242 Primary Facility 2018-01-08 Incident- Response to Accident or Event No Violations Noted Inspection was in response to a deficient tank notification received by the Department on 1/5. PGE reported that a small fracture formed in the piping due to the extremely cold temperatures. The tank battery contained 4 poly tanks still connected to the manifold and 2 steel tanks that were disconnected. The secondary containment had an undetermined depth of ice. No fluid or ice was present outside of containment. The wells were tagged, and no issues were noted during the inspection. I spoke to Nathan Harris of PGE on 1/9/18; he informed me that the leak occurred at a t-junction in the manifold, and that the manifold had been shut off to force the water to a single tank to avoid the broken pipe. The steel tanks had been decommissioned in July of 2017.
2788346 Primary Facility 2018-10-11 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 10/11/2018, Department representative Brad Kline conducted a routine site inspection at COP Tract 293 Pad G. There are 7 production phase wells with 7 attached sand separators. 7 GPU in secondary containment and water separators. There was 1 main sand separator. 4 produced fluid tanks in secondary containment. Field measurement for conductivity within the produced fluid tanks was 2.4 mS/cm. The Department recommends vacuuming out the water in the secondary containment.
