2575310 | Primary Facility | 2017-03-20 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | I entered the site at 09:40, in response to a spill notification phone call I received from Bird Smith (EXCO) at 08:20 this morning. Mr. Smith reported that
approximately 56 barrels of produced water were released to containment from the bottom valve on the Doebler 3H (081-20718) produced water tank. The release was caused when the produced water froze in the valve and dislodged the gasket. At the time of the inspection, the Doebler 1-5H (081-20454, 081- 20717, 081-20718, 081-20719, 081-20720) wells were in production. Water was actively leaking from the bottom valve on the production tank for the Doebler 3H well but the vac-truck driver/operator was onsite vacuuming water from the containment. Snow was covering the ground around the containment and I found no evidence that any produced water had leaked out of the containment. Field conductivity of produced water in the containment was between 1650- 1995 umhos/cm at several locations. The conductivity of the produced water is significantly lower than expecte |
