2513793 | Primary Facility | 2016-08-25 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Inspection of DEP Orphan List wells on border of McKean and Potter County conducted August 25, 2016 due to recent inquiry on the operating status of the wells with Barry Assoc. Inc. as listed operator. The wells are in the vicinity of Raub Hollow road, which is more of a trail I hiked up to find the wells. I past a small cabin on the left and on the right was a tree with blue paint which marked a smaller trail where I found the first well, not tagged, believed to be permit # 083-01455. The well was either plugged or just buried with a 2” vent pipe coming above ground adjacent to the well. The well was shut-in/isolated form 2” above-ground pipeline. I followed the pipeline through the woods. It was broken down in spots, not operating. The next well I found, not tagged but believed to be #105-00664 had surface, production casing, wellhead, tubing rod and some old production equipment next to it but was not producing or operating. I continued on down the line and discovered 2 more unlabeled wells that I assume |
