Based on records, well drilled 3/29/81 to a depth of 8700 feet and maintains an active permit status. During inspection, no proper tag displayed at well head. The 200 bbl brine tank was heavily corroded showing signs of collapsing. Refer to attached picture. Fluid present in the tank. Production equipment has been removed and well has been shut off. Well head assembly consisted of 36¿, 24¿, 7¿, 4¿ flange connected to 2¿ production line with 5 shut off valves. No signs of leaks around well head. During inspection, DEP called Brian Haney at Interstate Gas to inquire about status of site. No pressure gauge at well head. |
