2260923 Primary Facility 2014-04-08 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 4/8/14, the Department conducted a follow-up inspection of SWN RU 32 Folger Pad where violations had been noted by the Department during a 9/24/13 inspection. The cut slope has been effectively stabilized. As of this inspection, violations noted in the 9/24/13 inspection have been corrected/abated.

2477437 Primary Facility 2016-04-22 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted
2488555 Primary Facility 2016-05-31 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted
2558039 Primary Facility 2017-02-01 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted At time of inspection, arrived on site at 15:25p.m., the cellar was full of gravel and there was no gas detected at the perimeter of the cellar. The vent pipe was open and set up with a Taylor plug to check for pressure and the valve going to the production tank was closed. There was 557psi on the production casing and 507psi on the production line. I took a walk around the location and noticed that the entire site was covered with snow except a section between the production tanks and the production units. I contacted Gene Rickard (DEP WQS) to let him know about the well site.

I left the site at 16:05p.m.

2564074 Primary Facility 2017-02-02 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Today’s inspection was conducted after a Department Oil and Gas Inspector noticed a large area of unfrozen standing water on the well pad surface near the production tanks and production units. The unfrozen water is unusual in respect to the fact that recent and current temperatures have been and are well below freezing. The Department employed an Extech Instruments ExStik 2 Conductivity Meter, tested the water and found the conductivity to be around 90 microsiemens, a relatively low number. Of note is the fact that algae was present and thriving in the standing water. The presence of the algae suggests that the water is probably an expression of ground water which would also explain the temperatures recorded of the standing water of 9 degrees Celsius. Overall, the pad site looked good with no E&S violations observed.
2564093 Primary Facility 2017-02-06 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Today’s inspection is being conducted after having consulted with a Department Geologist and a Department Oil and Gas Inspector in reference to the standing water observed on the SWN RU 32 Folger Pad. The consensus was that it would be prudent for the Department to collect samples, soil and water, of the standing unfrozen water and associated contact soil on the pad to ensure that the presence of the standing unfrozen water is a natural phenomenon. Present during the inspection was myself, Jon Sassi, Department EPS, Eric Rooney, Department LPG, David Schoonover, Department OGI, and Mike Deming, SWN Senior Regulatory Analyst. Mr. Deming did state that SWN has always been aware of the standing water and that its presence has been attributed to the theory that the water is a natural expression of ground water. The Department collected 3 separate samples, one soil sample and two water samples. The soil sample, 0257238, will be tested for glycol and methanol. One of the water samples, 0257239 will be tested
2651855 Primary Facility 2017-10-25 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted At time of inspection.

The well was in production. The cellar was full of gravel and there was no gas detected at the perimeter of the cellar. I took a walk around the location and there were no obvious concerns noticed. There were no violation noted.

2753332 Primary Facility 2018-07-18 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted At time of inspection.

The well was in production. The cellar was full of gravel and there was no gas detected at the perimeter of the cellar. I took a walk around the location and there were no obvious concerns noticed. There were no violations noted.

2855694 Primary Facility 2019-03-19 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted At time of inspection.

The well was in production. The cellar was full of gravel and there was no gas detected at the perimeter of the cellar with a MSA Altair 5X multi gas detector that was calibrated on 3/4/19. I took a walk around the location and there were no obvious concerns noticed. There were no violations noted.
