2838554 | Primary Facility | 2019-02-06 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | The DEP conducted a routine inspection of Repsol Oil & Gas's Strange 3 (Strange 02-604) Well Pad in Sullivan Twp, Tioga County on 2/6/2018 at 1120 hours. The weather was rainy and 34 degrees. Repsol has just recently acquired these wells from Tenaska Resources. Act 9 ID sign was observed at the entrance of the site. The sign has the site named as "Strange (02-604)" and DEP records have the site name as "Strange 3 3H-4H." Please clarify this discrepancy. The onsite inspection log was found in the mailbox by the gate to the site.
There are currently two wells in production onsite (3H & 4H). There are three production tanks and 2 GPUs onsite all within functioning containment. The three production tanks did show fairly heavy corrosion (see photo #4). Fluids within containment and on the pad surface were all field measured within normal conductivity ranges. The site is well vegetated. This site's ESCGP (ESX10-117-0006) has expired, no Notice of Termination, well site restoration extension request or well site |
