2445082 | Primary Facility | 2016-01-27 | Site Restoration | No Violations Noted | The Department inspected the SWEPI LP site, the Davis 829 (ESX10-117-0116) located in Farmington Twp., Tioga Co. on 1/27/2015 @1030 hours in response to receipt of a Notice of Termination by the NERO on 11/25/2015. The weather was 34° overcast with blustery winds, light snow. The pad size has been reduced to ~125 x 150’. A single well head was observed on the pad with a visible well tag. The silt sock around the perimeter of the fill slope has been removed and the inner material dispersed onsite. The cut and fill slopes appear to have been mowed/hayed due to round bale wrapping material strewn about the site. The current growth observed onsite does not appear to be more than 50-60% vegetative cover. This does not meet the requirements of 25 PA Code §102.22. |
2495184 | Primary Facility | 2016-06-20 | Site Restoration | No Violations Noted | The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) inspected the SWEPI LP – Davis 829 site (ESX10-117-0116) located in Farmington Twp., Tioga Co. on 6/20/2016 @ 1400 hours in response to receipt of a notice of termination (NOT) by the Easter District Office on 6/13/2016. The weather was 82 degrees and sunny.
A restoration inspection was previously conducted at the Davis 829 site on 1/27/2016. The site did not meet the requirements of 26 PA Code §102.22 regarding vegetative cover, therefore the NOT was returned. As of today’s inspection, the cut and fill slopes, as well as the revegetated areas of the pad surface appear to meet the requirements of > 70% vegetative cover. Hay has recently been cut from the fill slope. Farm equipment and hay wagons are currently parked on the well pad. No temporary E&S controls were observed during the inspection. This NOT is recommended for approval at this time. The well site restoration reports have been reviewed and processed. I departed the site @ 1430 hours. Please con |
