This is an oil and gas producing well, fitted with an electrically driven pump-jack. The API ID is clearly written on the sampson post of the pump-jack. The first valve from the production string appears to be closed. The first valve from the surface casing is open. There is some old oil matted to the well head due to a leaky stuffing box. The leak does not appear to have been severe. The location and short accessing road are currently snow covered. Vegetation, however, can be seen poking through in many areas. There is one 140 bbl steel tank with in the proximity of the well. The tank appears to be completely surrounded with an earthen dike. The tank appears to have been disconnected from its supply line and skidded slightly out of place. A large hole has been cut near the base of the tank, indicating that it is empty.
