The well is in the process of being fracked. According to one of the contractors currently on location, they are on the third from the last stage. The entire pit and the area under and immediately surrounding the rig floor, have been covered with a synthetic liner. A large piece of liner is also hung over the pit to act as a back-splash. No unwanted spills or fluid migrations are evident. The access roads being used have developed some pretty significant rutting in many areas. All impacted areas should be reshaped and stabilized with either stone or seed and mulch, pending completion of the well. The reclamation of the disturbed areas was briefly discussed with Garrett Tharan while on location. The drilling permit is clearly posted on a tree near the location. No violations have been noted at this time.
