2377474 | Primary Facility | 2015-06-09 | Drilling/Alteration | No Violations Noted | Several attempts with increasing mud weight made to kill well unsuccesfully. Lost approximately 30 Bbl of mud into formation, suspected natural fracturing. Currently ~ 2500 Bbl mud from 16 ppg to 18 ppg on location for kill attempts and well control. Currently at SICP of 3750 psi and stable. Another kill attempt at 15:10 with ~ 150 Bbl of 16.0 ppg mud. Appears mud did not circulate. Next planned step is to "dead-head" well with mud in attempt to kill and sweep all gas back into formation. Well is undercontrol with both manual and emergency backup BOP control and annulus chokes. NOVIO |
2377654 | Primary Facility | 2015-06-10 | Drilling/Alteration | No Violations Noted | Kill attempted with 1230 Bbl of 16.0 ppg mud only returned 30 Bbl total of gas cut mud. 2652022 | Primary Facility | 2017-10-16 | Site Restoration | No Violations Noted | On October 16, 2017, the Department performed an inspection of the Range Resources Claysville Sportsman Club well pad. The site is located in Donegal Twp., Washington Co. The inspection was a routine inspection of the site after restoration of the flare pad by the operator.
The well pad access road and well pad are in good condition. The site has been restored and is stable with greater than 70% vegetative cover. The well pad has been reduced in size. The operator has recently reclaimed the flare pad which was used to flare the recently drilled Utica well. The operator Range Resources has terminated the ESCGP1 permit for the site. 7 wells have been drilled to completion and are equipped for production on site. 2 Utica wells and 5 Marcellus wells. The GPUs on site are not in secondary containment. The operator will need to place the GPUs into containment in the future. |
