The well apparatus and brine tank appeared to be in sound condition. No accelerated erosion or sedimentation observed in relation to the well site or access road. During the inspection the Department observed approximately 25 pieces of 2" steel drill pipe on site. The vegetative growth in the area of the pipe suggests the pipe has been on site for multiple growing seasons. In accordance with 32.16(c) Pits, drilling supplies and equipment. -- Within nine months after completion of drilling of a well, the owner or operators shall restore the well site, remove or fill all pits used to contain produced fluids or industrial wastes and remove all drilling supplies and equipment not needed for production. Drilling supplies and equipment not needed for production may be stored on the well site if express written consent of the surface landowner is obtained.
