This shallow producing well was located in the middle of a field that is owned by the Kintig family. The gravel road going into the site was well graveled.. The road was in good shape and was without any E&S issues. The well was correctely marked. The brine tank was not leaking. There was no sign of dead vegetation aroung the well or the brine tank. The well did not appear to be leaking, no gas odor was observed around the well. This is the site of the Range Resources brine tank farm that is no longer used. The tank farm consisted of two rail car steel tankers. The brine Range produces is taken to Washington and is reused when Range fracks a well. |
