The current drilling depth is (7,349.63) feet. I observed areas on and off containment at the location of what appears to be small spills and /or leaks. A white powdery substance, most likely polysaccharide, was spilled to the ground surface near the egress ramp and flare stack pipeline in the backyard. The white powdery substance on the ground is also next to a light tower without a method of secondary containment. Outside of the enclosed area where the oil and water based mud tanks are stored on containment in the corner of the Pad, there are small areas of dark staining and residue on the ground surface. It appears as if oil based mud may have leaked from the hoses to the surface of the ground. Mr. Balum informed me of an oil based mud spill or leaks in the hoses from the oil based mud tanks which occurred due to the mud freezing. |
