We met with Kevin Brady of Whitetail Environmental Services, LLC, Bud Roszel, Facilities Engineer and Dale Bennett both of BKV Operating, LLC. The weather conditions were partly cloudy skies and breezy with temperatures in the 30's. Flowback of the Ricci 1H-5H wells is in progress. On 1/17/18 the Department approved an Alternative Waste Management Practice, (OG-71) Form A application for temporary storage of flowback fluid from the Ricci wells in a modular above ground storage structure (MASS). A MASS is defined in PA code Title 25, Chapter 78a Unconventional Wells, Section 78. 1, as an aboveground structure used to store wastewater that requires final assembly at a well site to function and which can be disassembled and moved to another well site after use.
