The weather conditions are partly cloudy skies, very warm and humid, with temperatures in the low to mid 80's. We met with Clay Westerfield, completions consultant of CHK shortly after we arrived. BJ Services LLC is the CHK subcontractor at the site in preparation to conduct hydraulic fracturing (stimulation) of the Hope 5H and 6H wells. CHK submitted a stimulation notification on 7/23/18 to the Department. The notice indicated that CHK would be moving to the Hope Pad for frac operations between 8 AM on 7/24/18 and 5PM on 7/27/18. Mr. Westerfield informed us that frac operations have not yet commenced and BJ is in the process of conducting pressure testing. He further stated that zipper frac procedures will be performed on the 5H and 6H wells.
