The weather conditions are partly cloudy skies and breezy, with temperatures in the mid to upper 40's. The site is quite muddy due to recent snowmelt and precipitation events. Patterson UTI Drilling Rig # 334 is at the location on the 3H well. CHK submitted a Drilling Resumption After Break of 30 or more notification to the Department on 1/25/19. The notice indicated that CHK would commence drilling of the Slumber Valley 3H well on 1/26/19 at 5 AM. I met with Will Doby, site company man, and consultant of CHK.
In addition to conducting an inspection of surface activities mainly related to waste management and secondary containment, I conducted an inspection of the on-site processing of drill cuttings processing and drilling mud dewatering.
